Student guide
Welcome. This guide explains everything you need to learn on the platform, step by step. Signing up and learning are free. If your question isn't answered here, contact the platform's team at the email shown at the bottom of the page.
Getting started in two minutes
- Press “Sign up” at the top of the page and fill in the form.
- Wait for the team to review your request; you get a message when you're accepted (by email or on Telegram).
- Log in and open “My learning”: your courses, lessons and quizzes in one place.
- Start your first lesson, and carry on from where you stopped each time.
Creating an account
With email
- Press “Sign up”.
- Choose “Email” as the way to sign up and hear from us.
- Type your name, email and a password, then answer the form's questions (some are optional and say so).
- Tick that you agree to the terms of use and the privacy policy, then press “Create an account”.
With Telegram (no email)
- Press “Sign up” and choose “Telegram”.
- Type your name and answer the form's questions. The password is optional here: if you set one, you can log in with it and your phone number; otherwise you always log in with a code sent on Telegram.
- After “Create an account”, the platform's Telegram bot opens: press “Start”, then “📱 Share my number” to confirm your number.
- Go back to the page; it moves on by itself when you're done.
If Telegram is on another device, open the link shown on the page on that device. If the link has expired, go back to the site and ask for a new one.
Your password
- At least 8 characters, with a capital and a small letter (like A and a), a number and a symbol (like ! @ # ? or a space).
- A password that has appeared in a known data leak isn't accepted, even if it meets the rules.
- If you're asked to choose a new password when logging in, it's because the rules became stronger to protect you.
After signing up: your request
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | The team is reviewing your request. You get a message when it's accepted. |
| Approved | You can start now. |
| Denied | Your request wasn't accepted at this time. If the team wrote a reason, it's in the message and on your account status page; you can contact them to ask. |
| Suspended | The account is temporarily suspended (the reason, if given, is on your account status page); contact the administration. |
You can log in any time to see where your request stands.
Logging in
- Email or phone number and password: type either in “Email or phone number”, then your password.
- With a Telegram code: press “Log in with a Telegram code”, type your registered phone number, then copy the 6-digit code from the bot's message. The code works for a few minutes. Don't give it to anyone; the team will never ask for it.
- “Remember me” keeps you logged in on this device. Don't use it on a shared device.
Forgot your password?
- Email account: press “Forgot your password?” and type your email; you get a link to set a new password.
- Telegram account: on the same page choose “Get a code there”, type your number, then the code, then your new password.
To protect you and the platform, tries pause for a while after many wrong attempts, and the page shows how long to wait. Wait, then try again.
“My learning”
Your main page after logging in. It shows:
- Continue where you left off: your courses with how much you've done; each opens the next lesson directly.
- My courses and My paths.
- Assignments waiting for you and Available quizzes.
- Upcoming classes and announcements.
Courses and paths
A course
A set of lessons on one subject. The course page has an overview, sometimes an intro video, prerequisites and a reading list, then its lessons in order with the state of each.
Who can see a course?
- Public: any visitor.
- All approved students: needs an approved account.
- Course students only: the team adds you (or your group, or a path that includes the course).
A path
A set of courses arranged so you move through them step by step. Its courses open in one of three ways:
| Way | How it works |
|---|---|
| Free | Every course is open; pick what you like. |
| Stages | Courses of one stage run side by side; the next stage opens when the previous one is done. |
| Progression | One course after another; each opens when the one before it is done. |
Starting an open path: open “Paths”, then the path, and press “Start this path”. Leaving a path: press “Leave this path” on its page. Your progress is kept, and you can start again any time without losing lessons you had reached.
Some paths are assigned only: the team places you in them, and there's no Start button.
Lessons
Watching a lesson
- The player remembers where you stopped, so the video resumes there next time.
- On a slow connection, low quality may be chosen automatically to save data; you can switch it with “Low quality (saves data)” under the video when it's offered.
- Under the lesson: its text, its files (PDF books, worksheets, audio) to download, and its assignments and quizzes, if any.
- To move around: “Previous lesson”, “Next lesson” and “Back to the course”.
When is a lesson complete?
The team chooses the way for each course, and the lesson page tells you what's needed:
- By watching: a video lesson completes itself once you've watched the required share of it (usually 90%). Skipping to the end doesn't count as watching.
- With the “I finished this lesson” button: press it when you finish. Lessons without a video always complete with this button.
Moving to the next lesson doesn't complete the current one. Look for the completed mark and your progress on the course page.
Why is a lesson locked?
The reason shows on the lesson page and in the lesson list:
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| Opens after you complete the previous lesson | Complete the lesson before it. |
| Opens on (date) | Wait for the date; it may be a fixed date or some days after you started. |
| Opens after you pass “…” with …% or more | Pass that quiz with the score shown. |
| Opens once your answer to “…” is accepted | Send that assignment and wait for your teacher to accept it. |
| Your teacher will open it when it is time | Your teacher will open it. |
| The teacher has closed this lesson for now | Wait, or contact your teacher. |
| This lesson is for students of this course only | The course is for the students added to it; contact the team if you should be one of them. |
| The lesson opens once your account is approved | Wait for your request to be accepted. |
A lesson you have completed stays open to you, even if the team adds new lessons before it (unless your teacher closes or hides it).
Quizzes
Taking a quiz
- Open the quiz from the lesson or course page, or from “Available quizzes” in My learning.
- Read its details: number of questions, time limit, pass mark, attempts, and opening and closing times.
- Press “Start the quiz”.
- Answer the questions. In “Choose every correct answer” questions, more than one answer may be right.
- Press “Submit answers”. The confirmation warns you if any question is unanswered. You can't change your answers afterwards.
- Your answers are saved automatically as you go, on your device too. If the connection drops or the page closes, press “Resume attempt” to go back.
- With a time limit, a countdown shows the time left; when it runs out, the attempt is handed in automatically with the saved answers.
- If the quiz closes before you submit, your attempt is handed in automatically with what was saved.
Your result
- Choice questions are marked straight away.
- Written questions are marked by your teacher, or by automatic marking that the team then reviews. You see “Your answers are in…”, and you're notified when the result is published.
- Some quizzes show results only after the team reviews and publishes them.
- Correct answers show depending on the quiz: right after submitting, after the quiz closes for everyone, or never.
- “Your attempts” lists all your attempts and results, and “Try again” appears if you have attempts left.
If you were ill or travelling, ask your teacher for an exception: an extra attempt, extra minutes, or your own closing time. The quiz page tells you when one is given.
Assignments
You find assignments on the lesson or course page, and under “Assignments waiting for you” in My learning.
- Open the assignment and read what to do and the due date.
- Answer in the ways the assignment allows:
- Written answer.
- Attached file (up to 100 MB).
- Voice recording: press “Start recording” (the browser asks for the microphone), then “Stop recording”, and listen before sending. Or choose an audio file (MP3 or M4A). Up to about 40 minutes.
- Press “Send”.
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not sent yet | You haven't sent an answer. |
| Waiting for review | Your answer arrived. What you send before the review replaces it. |
| Accepted | Your answer was accepted; you may see a mark and your teacher's feedback. |
| Redo requested | Read (or listen to) your teacher's feedback, then press “Send a new answer”. |
| Late | Sent after the due date. |
Some assignments keep the next lessons locked until your answer is accepted.
Live classes
- Open “Live classes”: upcoming classes in your time, and recordings of past classes.
- The “Join class” button appears 15 minutes before the start. Always join with this button: it records your attendance.
- You get a reminder a day before and shortly before the start.
- After the class, your teacher may add its recording as a lesson in the course.
Set your time zone in My account so times show correctly for you.
Certificates
- A course certificate is issued automatically when you complete all the lessons shown to you and pass its final exams, if the course awards one. A path certificate is issued when you complete all its courses.
- Open “My certificates”, then:
- “View & print”, then “Print / save as PDF”, or “Download certificate (PDF)”.
- “Copy verification link”: a public link that proves your certificate is genuine, showing only your name, the course and the date.
- If the team finds a mistake in a certificate they may revoke it; its verification link then shows it as revoked.
Notifications and announcements
- The bell at the top shows your notifications: new lesson, new quiz, result, assignment, assignment review, class reminder, certificate, announcement. Press “Mark all as read” to clear them.
- Announcements from the team show in My learning and on the announcements page.
- Outside the site: you also get these by email or on Telegram unless you turn it off in My account → Notifications.
- Stop emails in one click: every email ends with a “Turn them off in one click” link, and many mail apps show an “Unsubscribe” button at the top. Either stops notification emails without logging in; essential account emails (like password resets) still reach you. To turn them back on: My account → Notifications.
My account
Open the menu with your name at the top, then “My account”:
- My details: name, phone number, time zone and interface language. (A number verified on Telegram changes by sharing another number there. To change your email, contact the team.)
- Notifications: “Also send me notifications outside the site (by email or Telegram)”, and “Send my messages by” if you have both.
- Password: type your current password, then the new one. Changing it logs your account out on other devices.
- Telegram: connect your account to the platform's bot to log in with a code and get notifications there, or disconnect it.
- Delete my account: deletes your account, progress and results permanently. Type “DELETE” to confirm. You can keep your certificates verifiable (only the name and verification code stay, linked to no account).
Search
Press Search and type a word of two letters or more: matching courses, paths, lessons, articles and pages appear. Locked lessons show by title only.
On your phone
- Add the platform to your home screen to open it like an app: on iPhone in Safari, the Share button → “Add to Home Screen”. On Android in Chrome, the ⋮ menu → “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
- The bottom bar: Home, Courses, Search, My learning, and “More” (my account, notifications, certificates, paths…).
- Dark mode and language: the small buttons at the top of the page.
- If the connection drops, a “You’re offline” page appears with a “Try again” button.
Your privacy and safety
- Videos uploaded to the platform play for you through a temporary link of your own, and are never published anywhere.
- Never share your password or a Telegram code. The team never asks for them.
- To learn what we collect and how we protect it, read the privacy policy at the bottom of the page.
Common questions
I signed up and haven't heard back. The team reviews requests by hand. Log in to see your request's status. If it takes long, contact the team, and check your email's spam folder.
The password reset email didn't arrive. Wait a few minutes and check your spam folder. Make sure you typed the email you registered with. If your account is on Telegram, use a code instead.
I watched the whole video but the lesson isn't complete. If the course completes with the button, press “I finished this lesson”. If it completes by watching, progress counts real watching; skipping around may not all count. Carry on watching from where you stopped.
The next lesson is locked. Read the reason on the lesson page (see “Why is a lesson locked?” above).
My internet dropped during a quiz. Your answers are saved automatically. Go back to the quiz and press “Resume attempt” before time runs out. If time runs out, the attempt is handed in with what was saved.
My result isn't showing. Some questions are marked by the teacher, and some quizzes show results after the team reviews them. You're notified when it's published.
I can't see the correct answers. The quiz's settings decide: they may show after it closes for everyone, or not at all.
I finished the course but got no certificate. Check that every lesson is completed (not just watched) and that you passed the final exams, and that the course awards a certificate. If it still doesn't appear, contact the team.
The microphone doesn't work for my assignment. Allow the site to use the microphone in your browser's settings, or record with your phone's app and upload the audio file.
How do I change the interface language? With the language button at the top, or in My account → My details → Interface language so your messages come in it too.
Can I study on more than one device? Yes. Your progress is saved in your account on every device.
